What areas will you deliver to

I can deliver your vessel to any location that can be reached by water.

That means any port along the East Coast, Gulf of Mexico, or the West Coast of the U.S.

This also includes any location, Transatlantic, South America, Pacific or anywhere else that can be navigated in the world.

                   Who actually does the delivery

I do all of my own delivery's. This is not a captains pool, all work is performed by myself and hand picked crew.

You only need to deal with one person to have your boat safely relocated.

Can the owner or guest come along

Yes You and your guest are welcome.

Does the boat need to be insured

Your yacht must be insured, the owner should notify they're insurance provider and a rider will be issued for the delivery.

If you don't have insurance call me and I may be able help with obtaining a rider for the delivery. (I am not an insurance broker or agent.)

Should my boat be ready to go

You should have all Coast Guard required safety equipment, vhf radio, and the vessel should be well maintained.

A predeparture inspection will be done and a report given to you. Any issues can be rectified before departure.

                  Cost for moving your vessel

The cost of moving your vessel varies depending on the route or owner preference. The owner is responsible for crew transportation

any necessary expenses such as fuel and transit fees.

How do I pay for having my vessel delivered

All of the delivery expenses must be paid in advance (many owners prefer to provide a credit card rather than paying expenses in advance)  50% of estimated fees must be deposited prior to departure of vessel. The balance is due when the vessel reaches it's destination. The owner or the owners agent should be on hand to make a final payment. Other arrangements may be made in advance if necessary.

               How delays are handled

Delays for weather are billed at a reduced rate, delays caused by mechanical failure are handled individually. Minor mechanical failure can often be handled while underway when tools and needed parts are on hand. There is no extra charge for this. Should a major failure occur we will head to the nearest port and obtain approval from you before any work is performed. Weather delays that are short in duration there is no charge for (24hrs or less) often weather can be routed around, however in the event of a major weather system where the safety of the crew and vessel are paramount, there is a reduced charge for delays.
